【原文】宰予晝寢。子曰：“朽木不可雕也，糞土之墻不可圬也，于予與何誅?”【譯文】宰予白天睡覺。孔子說：“真像腐朽的木頭一樣無法再雕琢，像糞墻一樣不能再粉刷了，對于宰予這個(gè)人，我還責(zé)備他什么呢?”孔子又說：“開始時(shí)我對于人，是聽了他的話就相信他的行為；現(xiàn)在我對于人，是聽了他的話，還要觀察他的行為。宰予使我改變了觀察人的方法?！?/div>
